I don't wish death upon the guy. As horrible of a human being and President he is, I hope he pulls through.

I then hope he and his ego get utterly destroyed in the election, and he serves the rest of his life out fighting court battles and/or in jail, preferably the latter.

If all this B.s in 2020 has any positives it would be his demise after all the pain and death hes xaused from the usa to south America to the middle east. The man is personally responsible for the deaths of thousands. Meaning he himself had the power to save them. Personally. Himself. And yet he chose not to because, as you said, his ego. Thousands of lives ruined and destroyed, because of his stupid selfish ego.

So no he does not deserve to pull through. Not all life is precious. There are plenty of people in the world that deserve to meet their end and the world would be a better place. I couldn't care less about seeing him be humiliated. What I do care about is lives being saved and a better future for our future generations. Trump impedes that kind of future and actively tries to destroy it. Him being alive will cause suffering and deaths to thousands of others, especially if he wins a second term. The sooner he is removed by any means necessary, the better this planet as a whole is. If that means is the coronavirus, then god speed to it.


Very hard to bite my tongue and say what I want to say but I know plenty of us are thinking it. He's in the high risk category across the spectrum. If this is the world's get out of jail free card, then I hope it gets played.

But it does speak to the current state of things that you pretty much cannot dismiss any possibility here. Actually has COVID? Of course, he's been basically asking to get it. Doesn't have it and this is his last desperate election ploy? Of course, he doesn't have any other high variance play to make and we know nothing is beneath him. My initial thought is I don't see how this changes much. It mostly reinforces how poorly he's handled this entire situation. I'm sure there will be sympathy towards him to get better, but his mismanagement of the pandemic is why he's so far behind in the polls to begin with, so an event like this that is about as clear an example of how un-seriously he's taken it. Not sure where it helps him. Now, as a precursor to suspending the election, maybe that could work. Or maybe it's his play to step down and avoid the humiliating loss. It's just crazy there's almost nothing I would dismiss as being too "out there". The state of America in 2020 pretty much.

I'm somewhat skeptical of whether he has it too. He probably does, I guess. Him getting it, with mild symptoms plays into his narrative that it is nothing pretty well. Getting the anti-trumpers to all say they hope he dies could generate some backlash that helps Trump. A hard fight with it and a strong comeback could generate some kind of vote for his ''courageous fight". Didn't Boris's popularity numbers increase?
