Just got it for 79.98 at Superstore. First time trying it thanks to this thread and its pretty outstanding. Nice way to try and forget about the 4 games...

Thought that I would bump this and see if anyone else attended the MS Scotch tasting last night? I thought that it was a great event. I tried a lot of different scotches and really enjoyed it. I tried a number of the Japanese whiskies and a wide variety of the distillers in general were represented. If you haven't been I would recommend this for next year as its a really well run event and there is plenty to taste.

I would be there in a heart beat if I didn't have family commitments.

I stopped at KWM yesterday and tried Nikka 15-yr old Myagikyo. Really great stuff, if you like'em peaty and smokey. Pricey too though, $160.

Received a bottle of Lagavulin for Christmas. Great story to go with it too.

Awesome bottle. I like it neat but on occasion will toss a few drops of water for a little sweetness.

On a random note, I recently discovered I dislike drinking Alberta Premium neat as it tastes too sweet. I need to mix it to consume it.

Picked up a bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask today. Just had a few sips of my first glass. If you like a smokey peaty scotch this is a good one. On sale at willow park right now for $46.

Bought a bottle of Glenfiddich 21 Gran Reserva at Heathrow for 95 pounds. Trying not to think of the exchange rate...

My friend picked this up for me for my birthday: https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskie...ky/#!/product/

It's ridiculously good considering it's around $60. I highly recommend it.

I snagged that Glenfarclas 15 in the pic I posted above, and finally cracked it last night. It's a nice big sherry bomb, and it quickly jumped to the top of my list of favorite Scotches.

Also for anyone looking for the Quarter Cask, Olympia has it on sale right now even cheaper then Willow Park, 37.99

^ I have a bottle of that Glenfarclas 15 as well and its really good. The 17 they have is really nice and a little smoother with some sweeter tones. I really like the 17!

Interactive version of the Scotch chart that has been posted a few times in this thread.

http://scotchgit.bitbucket.org/

My last purchase was not technically Scotch, still Single Malt Whisky, but from India; Amrut Cask Strength. A nice big punch in the face with the 61.8% abv...highly recommended

I had this a few weeks ago. Don't think I'd drink it again.
