This isn't close to the Hanifin trade
Hanifin.....: 1st + 3rd + Miromanov
Andersson: 1st + 2nd + Whitecloud + magic beans
2nd vs 3rd (both were conditional) , and Whitecloud is to Miromanov as Zadorov is to Bean

A 2027 2nd can become a 2028 1st?

If this was any other team, I think people respond a lot warmer to this return.

The 2027 pick is protected? Where did you see that? I haven't seen that yet.

This is a great return, for a rental. And has possibility’s, to get even greater. Whitecloud is a decent deffenceman.

The only disappointment is that the picks aren’t until NEXT year. Otherwise, getting 2 high picks is exciting.

His extension will come before the Olympics to protect him against an injury

Andersson's ask from Boston was equivalent or higher than McAvoy's $9.5M AAV. It was between $75M - $80M.
Bruins were never going to get there. The belief is he thinks he can get $10M+ on the UFA Market.

Dreger is saying top 10 protected, but Puckpedia hasn't added that detail yet and they are usually pretty quick.
It probably is top 10 protected because you almost never see unprotected 1st dealt these days, but I am holding out hope that Dreger is wrong.

If you want to defend the trade that is fine. I think it is the worst trade we have made in years, considering what we could have gotten at least years deadline.

You can stand by all your comments.
I was critical of the "lets be honest" statement which you refused to take back.
I said I don't mind the trade. I'm not calling it a home run, or even a win. You use things like garbage and fire everyone which is over the top. Over the top statements get reaction, but we're no longer to respond to your dribble or it's bullying.

Vegas being a good team perennially also means the first is essentially a high second

Never understood why we have to make the player happy, we could have traded him to 20 other teams.
Is the Vegas deal without extension really that much better?

Well, it isn't like VGK will finish bottom 10 in the next couple years anyway.

I'm just trying to find positives. 29 year old top 4 D with a good contract could attract a first....maybe....if you squint hard enough.

I don't care what people post about me, to be clear. If you or someone doesn't like my opinions, that is fine.
