Will the Jets pull Helle? Might as well, right?

That's the book on him, and no surprises that they exploit it in a playoff series... it's absolutely their go-to when they have time.

The final countdown is here. The Blues defenaive stand will be intense. The Jets have to skate at a supersonic pace.

At some point the league has to realize that Canadian teams are at an undeniable disadvantage, and something should be done to make things a bit more fair. The sample size is now over 30 years of zero Canadian winners, and it's large enough to definitely say there's a problem. If you look at total number of playoff series wins since '94, Canadian teams have won a lower proportion than the proportion of Canadian teams in the NHL.
That said, I'm more than happy with another Canadian team bounced in round 2.

Few young men want to live in cold places when they can make more money doing the same job in warm places.

This crowd is more shellshocked than Hellybuck. Jets need one fast to get the crowd and energy back.

TNT just had a graphic showing half of the goals against him in this series have been top glove.

Almost nighty night time for the jets if they can’t get a quick goal.

This is like watching someone bleed to death from a gut shot. No fight, nothing. Just laying there bleeding out.

I guess there is a good thing comes out of Blues winning. There will be two dirty teams fighting to get to the Conference final and if Knights choke and let Grease Pigs pass them there will be a tough and dirty team waiting for them.

Well said. Not to take anything away from the 93 Habs but that was world class goaltending from arguably a top 3 goalie in history. Prior to that the 90 Oilers were a dynasty. This problem goes back further than we think.
Thousands of players, who knows how many coaches, managers and ownership changes. Throw in the so called parity from 20 years ago and it's an issue.
My concern is that the league doesn't care cause us Canadian fans continue to just pay $$.

That'll change to some extent once the Huska era Flames reaches it's prime.
As much as it 'sucks' for Canadian teams to lose so much in the playoffs, deep down inside most fan bases here like that. "It's either my team that breaks the slump, no one else"

The NHL is in a situation unlike any other sport almost globally. We talk about pressure about playing in a Canadian market but that's nonsense when compared to other sports around the globe.
In the NHL the best players can make the most money and continue to win in locations where the sport is bottom of the barrel in terms of popularity. Literally NHL hockey is a welfare case in countless markets in the US. You don't see that in other sports.
Imagine entire soccer fanatic countries where they couldn't compete in their national sport. Germany, UK, France, Italy? Na, decades and decades of meh.
It's shocking when you drill into it.
Literally would be a revolution
