Refs just love their STL blues. Schenn gets away with interference and then ehlers called for the trip.

Reminds me of Getzlaf in his later playing days. Got away with murder but refs won’t call him, like some kind of veteran privilege. I recall a flames game where there was an after whistle scrum. Getzlaf waltzes in and just flattens a small flames player (Mangiapane maybe) right in front of the ref. No call.

Kinda sad that no matter what and no matter what has changed, Canadian teams really just can't compete. No matter who's drafted, fired, traded for, managing or ownership, nobody can actually win. The NHL really does have a Canadian competitivity issue

Have to kind of feel bad for the Jets busting their butts all season to win the President's Trophy just to have to face arguably the hottest team in the league going into the playoffs.
