Flames will not be successful this season with Smith in net. He’s flat out bad at the game of hockey. He’s easily the worst (or in the worst 3) starting goalies in the league.
If he starts more than 30 games for the Flames this year, they will be lucky to be .500 which is sad since they have, for the most part, played very well this season. This game is a good example where they have dominated, but Smith craps the bed on a regular basis.

I found it alarming how he doesn't seem to have the cajones to call his goalies out on #### performances. There was an article about it on The Athletic.
It's basically the equivalent of having a "yes-man" around you like 7 days a week. He says he won't go over bad performances or clips unless 'there is a real teaching point to be made'.
Whatever the #### that means.
