February was an excellent month for the red snake, as the Flames went 9-2-1. Add in the last game of January, and they are 10-2-1 in their last 13 games, good for a 1.615 PPG pace over that stretch. The red snake is 2.927 points below the black line, the closest its been since after game #40. It remains 2 points below the hot, green snake, and extends the gap above the easy, purple snake to 16 points. A 12-6-0 record in the remaining 18 regular season games will allow the red snake to finish with 96 points, a 1.333 PPG pace.
There are no more back to back games the rest of the regular season for Calgary. March has them playing 14 games, with 10 at home and 4 on the road. This will allow the snake to get the proper rest between feedings.
