He will throw up a 50/50 deep ball and hope his receiver can go up and make the catch and the talking heads/announcers will forget the numerous wounded ducks/bounces or the times he held on to the ball for no reason and only point to the pass where the receiver did all the work for him.

That's a terrible call, and I hate the 49ers.

Well that's the game.....

That's embarrassing if that is a call in the NFL.

Harbaugh has a right to whine on that one. Brutal call, a gift to the Panthers. And Cam is crap so it doesn't matter.

Newton may have the worst body language of any professional athlete I have ever seen.

Just an embarrassing call there, I'm sure the NFL is glad that it didn't lead to the Panthers getting back in the game.

His expression after the 49ers kicked the FG to go ahead 23-10 was one of defeat, with 7 minutes left in the game.

Love watching Cam sulk, what a baby. Can't believe Saints coughed up the division/bye to that team, stings to think about. Would've put together a better performance today at home than that (coulda woulda shoulda)

Would it shock anyone if the Panthers are a 5-11 team next year?

You've never seen Eli Manning play?

Awesome awesome awesome
Goodell must be quaking in his boots at the potential of Broncos/Patriots and Seahawks/49ers. Those games will do monumental numbers.

Haha, fair enough. I always feel that Eli just looks unintelligent while Newton looks like someone kicked his dog. As was mentioned, the look on his face during that field goal was unbelievable. They might as well called it a day after that.

Yes. That defense is way too good to amount to a 5 win team and Newton hasn't peaked. Panthers need to bring in another top end WR to help him out. I'm not sure if this will ever be a championship team but they are definatly a team that will compete for the playoffs in the coming years.

Peyton just needs to take care of his job and we get maybe best final four in history. Of course now is the time to point out that since 2005 at least one of the favourites has lost on this weekend. 3/3 so far...
