i was more thinking all you would have to do is update the approved trades for the involved teams. It would be up to us to post our rosters and update them. Cant expect you to do all of it.

But have the list of trades in your reserved post.

I figure it would be easy for us to use the first several posts as a lineup postings for each team as easy reference.

Once I advance the week on Thursday, the next week of games will become available.

Soon I'm gonna take a GM poll on the pace of the league and see if we're satisfied with it or could speed it up a little bit. Current schedule is a two week schedule. The following advance will be a one week schedule every 3 days. If we prefer to speed things up a bit to get more seasons in, that can be adjusted.

People have been playing games against my AI (Buffalo Sabres) without my consent, which is fine, but did they read what Jobo said about giving a two day grace period in case I want to play them?

My AI won both games, so I suppose it doesn't bother me, but we should be consistent with how we schedule games.

don't you have to set to cpu before you can play against the other user's cpu? it's set to user on default, no?

I'm just going to tell you about a great site that me and silentsim used for trade talk insteand of PM. It's called makechat.com where you can set up an own chat room and just send the URL-link to the persons you want to chat with. It's easy and pretty useful!

Might be easier to use something like Google Talk. I'd like the idea of being able to send another GM a quick message from my phone.

The only downside we found was that you can't be active in two different rooms at the same time though.

Yup, I've enabled my CPU because as Jobo said earlier by default it should be enabled so we can roll the league along.

And no worries! I really don't mind. It's actually better if we get permission to just play against the AI when we want since we usually want to play that game immediately rather than two days from now. But if we make it a habit of using the 2 days guideline then it shouldn't be a problem.

there are rumors out of NJ that there are two blockbuster deals that have been completed and are awaiting commissioner approval. one of these trades is reportedly with a long-time division rival. therea re also rumors that NJ plans to be highly active in the FA market and this was confirmed by the Devil's GM "with our team being a cap floor team and being in a position to contend. I fully expect to send out some lucrative offers to free agents I have my eye on...."
