This team plays with no urgency unless they are down. Literally like a light switch the second they go down or tie it. Mentally haven't learned to play hard when they feel they should win.

I think Hiller's been fine.
He's just perfectly average. Just average. But average should be good enough for a team with this defence. The Flames' biggest problem is their complete inability to generate sustained pressure in the offensive zone (followed by their second biggest problem, getting in the offensive zone in the first place).
I'd still like to see Ortio in soon though, if only to see what we have there. At this rate, I could see the Flames trading Ortio for a pick and riding our tandem until Gillies and some UFA take over next year.

Yes, it's a tough, and at times unacceptable start to the season, but god damn, Flames fans are already becoming insufferable by a large percentage and we're four friggen games into the season.
Ease off the pedal fellas, it's a long season, but some of you are making it seem like an eternity.

That last play by Hamilton, joining the rush and getting back on defense ridiculously fast, was beautiful. Shows how good he can be. We really need to see more of that from him.
