The post-apocalyptic open world game ‘Fallout 4’ earned over $750 million in 24 hours.
Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is no longer the biggest entertainment launch of 2015.
Bethesda’s Fallout 4 sold 12 million copies and generated over $750 million in its first 24 hours at retail on Nov. 10. Those numbers obliterate the over $550 million in 72 hours that Activision-owned developer Treyarch earned with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Fallout 4’s Digital Sales Topped $100 Million in 3 Days
SuperData, a video game market analysis company, announces in a report that Fallout 4 digital sales have exceeded well over $100 million in a short period of time.
Thats what Obsidian are for, when their next Fallout game launches in 2 years you'll get to be bad again.
At least i hope that happens again. I found New Vegas way better than FO3.
I downloaded FO2 from gog to play on a road trip, and i noticed the 'classic' label on the first two games. I wonder if Bethesda might consider modern remakes of the first two games. They could farm the work out to another studio, using the costruction kit a studio could turn these games around pretty quick if they skip voice work.
Spent 2 hours in the game last night and never left my settlement LOVE this part. Trying to get food production up and I must have planted at least 4 or 5 crops. Now can I assign the same person to all 5 crops or does each crop require its own person tending to it? Only have 5 people atm. One is the Watchman guy and the other is the guy whom you get the small quest for in town (setting up beds etc) and I don't thin I can assign either of them to anything.
There isn't lots of freedom to do whatever you want, but man sometimes it can be awesome and liberating.
I got into Good Neighbour and some jerkoff tried to intimidate me, give him all my stuff so I don't get beat up while I was there. The ghoul mayor came by and started giving him crap, so the guy turned and started talking to him. I blew his head off with my shotgun. The mayor turned to me and was just like "I like your style!".
Then I went into their gun store and stole a Mini-Nuke.

Shut up...seriously? That's very cool. This game is becoming less about the main storyline for me and more about what I wanted Fallout: Shelter t be
Of the 4 hours I've spent ingame, more than half of that has just been me experimenting with crafting/setting up my settlement. I'm really enjoying that part. Just need to cure my key mapping issues as somehow re-assigned keys also seem to activate their default setting too.

How's the PS4 version running? I just finished MGSV and will probably start this game this weekend. Has there been any other patches outside the day one patch?

Crashed once on me thus far, and got stuck once. Better than expected thus far.
So I'm not sure if I'm a complete idiot or if I'm just not far enough yet, but how on earth do the perks work in this one? I'm on level 8 and haven't got any yet. I assumed you'd get them when you level up?
Also, none of my workbenches in the settlements are sharing items. Thought it was supposed to be common inventory.

For the perks, you go into the Pip Boy, under STAT and open the perk chart.
For the workbenches, you need the Local Leader perk, and then you need to set up supply lines. The game does a terrible job explaining the settlement building stuff.

You may be experiencing the same confusion I had. The "perks" are in the same place you can add points to your SPECIAL stats in Pip Boy.
The perks are right below. I assumed I didn't have access to them yet as they were slightly greyed out. They are only greyed out as you haven't put any points into them. You can add points to any of them except the ones that just show blank outlines. The ones that just show blank outline you don't have the per-requisites yet.
Only noticed that last night. I've put quite a few points into my SPECIAL only, not realizing I could have been adding them to the perks.

This was unclear to me too haha! But the greyed out perks on the second row from the top are pretty much available to you from the first time you level up. If you were like me you may have interpreted 'greyed out' to being 'unavailable'. Doh!
