So I am looking to pick up a second QB in my regular league, lol. Knowing me ill still likely go with Brady next week at home against the Bengals on the Sunday nighter, but I have to find a back up option and the pickings are slim
Available
Manual (not starting on Sunday)
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Geno Smith
Derek Carr
Brian Hoyer (Bye)
Austin Davis
Josh McCown
Teddy Bridgewater (didn't practice Monday, plays Thursday)
Chad Henne
Mike Glennon

Hoyer was on bye this week, so he'll be playing next week. From that list i'd go with him.

I'm in tough deciding on WRs for this week. We have 3 WR slots and my options are:
- Demaryus Thomas
- Jeremy Maclin
- Julian Edelman
- Wes Welker
- Michael Floyd
I was thinking Thomas, Maclin, Welker. That might be putting a lot of faith in the Broncos though. I'm sketchy on Edelman considering Brady's struggles and the Thursday game. Any thoughts?

So my fantasy team is in absolute disarray and I'm scrambling to make some changes. I've been battered with injuries, and in a 10-team league, my first pick is now the 19th overall pick. (I picked AP second overall). Need some advice on a trade!
My team is as follows:
Starters currently:
QB - Kaepernick
RB1 - Zac Stacy
RB2 - Knile Davis (picked him up in a trade hoping Charles would be out longer - ugh)
WR1 - Alshon Jeffrey
WR2 - TY Hilton
TE - Dwayne Allen
Flex - (RB) Isiah Crowell
D/ST - Bears
K - Nick Novak
BENCH:
- Still have AP
- WR - Desean Jackson (ridiculously inconsistent and I keep managing to bench him on his good weeks and vice-versa)
- WR - Wes Welker
- RB - Pierre Thomas
- WR - James Jones
- QB - Kirk Cousins
I was offered Ahmad Bradshaw straight up for Alshon Jeffrey. Jeffrey has been my most consistent WR (averaging 10 points), but nothing earth-shattering. Bradshaw has been surprisingly good this year.
Thoughts?

I would avoid doing that trade. Hilton/Bradshaw/Allen puts you in a bad position where you are relying too much on the Colts. Possibly look at picking up Ben Tate if he is available or move Hilton for a RB
Also noticed you have Isiah Crowell who when Tate comes back will have a huge plummet in his production.

Agreed on the Colts part, but like I said, my team is in absolute shambles and the waiver wire is very thin. I pretty much need to take production where I can get it.
I haven't started Crowell yet, and Tate is taken as of now. I like the idea of flipping TY though.

what are you still doing with those two?
Pierre Thomas is #3 on the depth chart in NO right now and he has not done anything to warrant moving up. Bears defense sucks, and now that bye's have started, id try to capitalize on someone dropping an Arizona, Detroit or something of that ilk.
regarding the trade, id try to flip ty hilton or Wes Welker

I play defenses depending on their matchup week to week. I like the bears D this week (at least out of the teams remaining on the waiver wire).
As for Pierre Thomas - I haven't been able to find a better replacement to be honest.
For the trade - I countered Wes Welker or James Jones. Not ready to part with TY yet, as he's been increasing in production week to week and has been unlucky not to get a couple scores along the way.

Notables:
QB - Joe Flacco, Alex Smith, Ryan Tanehill, Fitzpatrick, Derek Carr
WR - Allen Hurns, Devin Hester, Malcom Floyd, Mohamed Sanu, John Brown, Greg Jennings
TE - Niles Paul, Heath Miller, Owen Daniels, Coby Fleener, Jared Cook, Daniel Fells
RB - Antone Smith, Terrance West, Roy Helu, Darrel Young,
Just kind of listed the top few per position. I had Niles Paul as TE prior to his injury, after my starter went down (Rudolph).

I just picked up Flacco this week for my team. I had Rodgers and Manuel but had to dump Manuel because he lost his position.

Question:
Should I start Blake Bortles vs Pittsburgh or Drew Stanton vs Denver? I cant seem to find any more updates regarding Carson Palmer's shoulder injury.
Second:
Who do I start: Ahmad Bradshaw vs Baltimore, A. Morris vs Seattle or B. Quick vs Philly for Flex?
I want to go with Bradshaw and Morris as my WR are D. Thomas and K. Benjamin. Bradshaw is an injury scare and Morris is going up against Seattle. Quick has an anaemic Rams offense but is pretty much the only viable option for Austin Davis.
Soooooo confused!

It has been reported that Coach Arians has said that Palmer has regressed during his rehab since last week.

those are remaining free agents in your league?
If you need to keep a RB, Helu is a better option than Thomas at this point, at least he gets on the field and woyuld be a #21 replacement to an injured Alfred Morris.
If keeping a RB is no big deal, then any of the listed WR would be a better bench player than Thomas, Noteably John Brown, Greg Jennings and Devin Hest(Guy is #7 in receiver points in PPR leagues).
Best case, you can flip one of them for a poor starting running back like Sankey or Gerhart and upgrade on Thomas the long way

Stanton, if Denver puts up some points then Cards are gonna have to throw the ball and there could be potential points there.
B. Quick, pretty much the only option against not the greatest D.
