Anderson made headlines in Canada last year when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke to the European Parliament.

“Mr. Trudeau, you are a disgrace for any democracy,” she said in a response to the parliament. “Please spare us your presence.”

They didn’t hear about this? Ha. Right.

No, they knew. They knew months ago when the same woman stood up in front of the EU Parliament and gave her stupid speech on how Trudeau is the enemy of democracy, and then spread that all over their RWIBSM (right wing BS independent media) and social networks. My coworker mentioned her to me and within 5 minutes of hearing about it that day, I knew who she was before I decided to comment on what she said.

You'd think if you are going to spread what someone elses says, you'd do even an ounce of research.

No, either these people keep lying to us about not knowing the reality of someone and think were stupid to believe it, or they are just as dumb as we think they are. Scratch that, it's both. There's no pleading ignorance here.

Among key points in the report

Liberal MP Han Dong is alleged to have been helped by the Chinese consulate in Toronto during his 2019 nomination race, by bussing in seniors & students to vote for him, according to CSIS docs & sources CSIS asked the PM's senior staff to rescind Dong's nomination, per sources

Through a combo of CSIS docs and intelligence sources, Global News has learned the consulate allegedly sent 2 busloads of Chinese Canadian Seniors to Liberal nomination meeting, and those seniors knew who to vote for, because Dong’s name was written on their arm

Sources also say CSIS suspected that Chinese international students with faked addresses were bussed in to Don Valley North and “told by the PRC Consulate” to support Dong, “if they want(ed) to maintain their student visa status,” as per CSIS docs and intelligence sources

A senior intelligence official told Global News, CSIS shared their concerns about Dong in late September 2019 during a classified briefing with Senior Liberal Party staff who hold security clearances. In that meeting, CSIS urged them to rescind Dong’s nomination

We asked PMO many questions, including if Trudeau knew about Dong being an alleged CSIS target. PMO said “There are so many factual inaccuracies in your questions that it is not possible to even begin to answer your questions.” Here is the full PMO response

That part doesn't make a whole lot of sense. How would visa students be eligible to vote for anything (whether it be a nomination or in an election)?

Do you need to be a citizen or just reside to vote for a political party nomination?

I don’t think you need to be a citizen to vote in a liberal nomination meeting. Not sure if these are the latest versions of these bylaws but it’s the most effort I am willing to put it

Because of the or in C if you ordinarily reside in Canada you can be a member

And the nomination rules just say you have to be a registered liberal

National Rules for the Selection of Candidates 12

(b) the Nomination Meeting is in the Home Electoral District of the Registered Liberal;
(c) the Registered Liberal is present at the Nomination Meeting (except where these Rules permit alternate methods of voting);

Definition of ordinary residence

Place of ordinary residence
(1) The place of ordinary residence of a person is the place that has always been, or that has been adopted as, his or her dwelling place, and to which the person intends to return when away from it.

So I believe if you “ordinarily reside” in a riding and are over the age of 14 you can vote in a liberal nomination.

Agreed. He has tapped into a gold mine in taking down unhinged people like that heckler. People have had enough of irrational extremists like that, and respond to him reflecting their anger back at them.

Even his performance in the emergencies act inquiry was a thrill to watch.

They did what anyone does. They travelled over 100 KM each as the lunch meeting was not in any of their ridings to meet a woman they had never heard of before and did not know. Almost anyone will have lunch with people they do not know and have never heard of before.

And Pierre apologized in a written statement. He has not put that statement or any evidence of an apology on his twitter account or any other social media channels, and he somehow found time to record a 4 minute video on diesel trucks, but he is real sorry about it. It is effectively a silent apology in today’s world.
