Why even have refs? Call the game remotely and get these biased clowns out of the way. They obviously aren't good enough to be relied upon.

So NHL war room gets to watch a pre season game live and they can't show this game on one of SN's 18 channels.

It's not so much that I'm attached to any one player (personally), but without Johnny, we don't have anyone who plays an exciting style. Sure, Chucky makes some really sneaky plays, and Lindholm is very good, but they don't bring what Johnny (or a similar player) does.
Like I previously mentioned, tonight really shined a light on that in my eyes.
If we don't have Johnny, or someone else who brings that aspect to the team, it's going to be a painful period (for me at least).

I get what you're saying, I love watching Johnny as well. He is a very exciting player but I honestly will not care if he leaves or any other Flame leaves for that matter.

Just hope we can maximize assets if they do decide to leave.

Remember when we got scored on in the playoffs in that same scenario and we couldn’t challenge the high stick? Was that Colorado or Dallas, can’t remember the team, but was BS.

Agreed. Thought after the first the play was much more even.

Liked Vladars game but a couple of the goals had a little odor to them.

Glad we won't have to play Ehlers 9 times this year because he clearly has a Getzlaf-level vendetta vs the Flames

Disagree. Review is terrible. Should be very limited. I'd rather them be wrong

If there was more than a minute left in the game the goal would have counted

Also Vladar. Lucic had some good moments. I thought Hanifin had a couple good plays. I thought Chuckie struggled a bit to make clean passes.

We need a thorough shakedown of the war room.

After that game, I really think that Dube should play center full-time. He is way more dynamic and effective as a center, which makes sense as that was his position all the way up until the NHL.

For a league that supposedly wants more goals they sure work hard at taking them away

No, definitely not. I would like to see a tandem made of Mangiapane and Dube. I'm curious if a center line up of Monahan-Backlund-Dube would be too much of a downgrade from Lindholm-Monahan-Backlund to justify taking advantage of Dube's better game in the middle.

As competent as Lindholm is at center, I find him equally effective on the wing.

They spend $80M a year on this roster and they have one dynamic player.

One guy who can threaten a defense.

I just don’t get it. I don’t understand what they’re looking for when they evaluate talent.

Blake Coleman, no disrespect, was the 15th-most important piece of two Cup winners, and we just had to give him 6 years and $4.9 per. He’s never had 40 points.

$4.9M worth of cap would come in real handy if you were, I dunno, trying to add a $10.5M centre.

One player that is worth paying the price of an admission ticket.

Can’t win like that.
