For Phillips, Ruzicka and Posposil it means a lot. The trio are fighting for a spot on the Flames roster and need to impress with ice time they get.

don't think anyone has said that...just that it isn't relevant to regular season results either way

We joke about all the Oilers pre-season championships all those years that led to lottery finishes.

you're right. I stand corrected.

Still the point stands in that in that that Tampa Bay team that had 128 pts in 2019.

Not a team that had a ton of open spots nor fighting for a playoff spot
