My god, have we sunk so low that we're finally going to blame Elliott for goals?

Yeah, it's the intermission that makes me question whether it's worth it. Fifteen minutes of smoking ice and silence before the third even starts...

Engelland did a pretty good job screening him though

How long until Johnny just packs in for the year, its not like this team really has his back. Sure Gio went in and tried to fight, then after that the Flames played like they didn't care, they didn't up the physical game at all, they didn't show any intensity.

Why would he want to play here, he's basically been abused all year and nobody lifts a finger.

I have to tell you, if I had a undersized player on my team taking that kind of abuse, I'd be willing to take a suspension for him.

I didn't think it would happen this early after the hiring, but I'm fully on the fire Gulutzan train.

I need to stop causing myself unnecessary stress at work by checking the Flames scores.

Also, shouldn't the thread title read Laughs vs Leafs?

There's a lot I'll forgive when it comes to a team simply not being good enough to win... but our inability to stand up for each other is baffling to me.

Gaudreau gets a huge headshot and you wouldn't have any idea based on the rest of the period. Gio at least came in to fight, but a team that cares for one another will respond on the ice and get pissed. Make it hell out there for the other team.

Can you imagine how Edmonton would respond this season if McDavid was the recipient of that headshot? Maroon, Kassian, and Lucic would actually respond... and I hate all 3 of those players. But they would defend their star player FFS.

We've only seen this sort of hockey for a few games. Can you imagine how the Oiler fans must have felt after watching it for many years.

Everybody dumped on some guy for starting a thread questioning the flames toughness a while back... he was right. Team is gutless and soft and that is why other teams slash and run around on the Flames. They know no one will push back.

Elliott reminds me of Hiller in the sense he is always looking and reaching behind him, thinking the puck has gone through
