Is there a point that transit shuts down? I have to take the bus home from work.

Anyone noticing issues with their Shaw internet connection today? Mine "works", but downloads are much slower, streams are sometimes a bit bumpy (livestream, ustream), and I find playing online video games pretty laggy.

Just curious if I'm the only one...

No I do a lot of downloading for work and it's really, really slow.

I have had intermittent cutouts, but I assumed it was my router.

Chill out boys.
Just because it takes 2 seconds vs a millisecond to download your pron, doesn't mean that the world is ending...

Watchout where you park, took my 5 minutes to get out of the stall I parked in a moment ago. The roads are wet but its the parking lots that are in rough shape

I'm with Telus and my internet and T.V have been going on and off today. Seems like whenever the weather gets a little bad my internet is effected.

Roads seem fine to me. Residential streets are a bit sketchy but all of the main roads I used didn't even have snow on them.

Prolly more people at home actively using the net instead of being out and about.

I like snow fine, it's the roads that are killer especially in residential areas. I know my neighbourhood started to have snow melting in patches due to the nice weather, now those patches are buried by snow and are like artificial potholes and deathtraps.

I shovelled this morning only to avoid having to do twice as much later. Good call -- we came back from my kid's swimming class and it was like I hadn't shovelled. Did it again and luckily this time it seems like the stuff hitting the sidewalk is melting.

Driving was interesting today - every time a pickup or SUV passed the opposite way, I got my windshield completely covered for the second that it took to turn the wipers back on... nerve wracking. I missed a turn because it was so greasy near Cardel Place, and some winner d-b decided it was his place to give me the finger because I slowed him down for 3 extra seconds. Then he slid into the curb on the corner. Sweet sweet karma. Too bad he didn't wreck his steering.

Turnabout is fair play. Edmonton totally still sucks though.
