According to the weather network we're suppose to get another 5-10 cm this afternoon.

You sure do complain about the weather a lot. You should be a farmer.

Man, I can't even make it out of my cul da sac this morning. It got stuck right off my driverway, so had to shovel my way just to get the car back into the garage. I guess my plans for the day is changing to just staying inside until they can get the snow under control.

Had to go to work early this morning and it was a super sketchy drive. Some places the snow was so deep that my car would automatically just follow the previous tire tracks, even if that person had clearly swerved off the road.

The worst is when there's a freeze/thaw cycle that entombs those deep ruts in ice. Happens a lot in residential areas and makes parking on the street a near impossibility in some places.

Haha oh wow that warning was for realz?? I don't live in Calgary anymore so I didn't pay that close attention, but when I saw the winter warning posted here yesterday I 100% wrote it off as an April Fools Day gag. Nice & warm here in Edmonton. Not that I'm bragging, I do live in Edmonton after all...

It's a good thing they used their early warning system to plow Macleod today! Oh wait...

Drove to the county dump early this morning . . . . an eventful drive, even for Mr. Durango, on unplowed roads.

Ruby and I will probably bundle up and walk a mile to the mailbox just to get out again. That big batch of pancakes for lunch needs some help.

Still howling blizzard southwest of the city.

Is that the same lady that gave the finger at the drive-thru? She must have REEEEEEEALLY needed another cheeseburger to brave this weather.

People who don't like snow need to pick up skiing or boarding!

It's not that bad on the main roads. I would guess that once the sun goes down and it gets colder it might be a lot worse, though.
