When I worked there it was one building with a very generic corporate lobby, and a gravel parking lot. Then it was two buildings with generic corporate lobbies, and a lifeless plaza in between. Such a good example of how to use those spaces in a better way.

Hell yeah, I finally checked it out in the summer and it was fantastic. We need more stuff like that to give the core more life, more reasons for people to stay after hours.

Gee golly, it sure is a mystery why big advertisers are abandoning Twitter in droves. If you were a marketing exec at, say, Nike or Coca-Cola, would you want your logo showing up next to a post like this? Note: the red bar was added; the original post included the full racial slur in plain view.

Musk said the other day as soon as court opened up Monday morning he was going to sue Media Matters into oblivion. I haven't seen any news about it, did I miss it? Just curious how amazing this lawsuit was going to be.

How are Bluesky and Threads and other platforms doing, for those that use them?
I'm still on twitter but ready to move along at a moment's notice if there's enough users and a user-friendly platform to make it worth my while. It's going to happen sooner than later but just curious.
I'm really only on twitter now for the sports accounts I follow, mostly hockey. If enough of those types of users leave I'm right behind them.

Bluesky is like a Twitter clone, but it seems antiquated outside of following the AT Protocol. Kind of reminds me of Threads, which is somewhat bare bones. Spoutible has far more functionality, still my go to.

Bluesky still needs some work to make it better to use and really attract more users, but it's got a good start.
