I'll bet the Dems are wishing they'd nominated Bernie right about now. I'm betting they still have something up their sleeve regarding Trump, which they were probably saving until a few days before the election. They have no choice now but to drop that sumbitch as soon as possible.

The previous probe was closed with no charges.
The reason it is concerning is that it opens up the possibility that there could be something found that results in charges.
Huge issue.

I would agree with this I guess. I mean at this point isn't this all about the last minute undecided anyways.

True, but you have to admit this looks pretty bad on Clinton regardless of the outcome of the investigation. It might not damage her enough to lose the election, but I think it could potentially be enough to make it a much closer race than what we were expecting.

It's bad, but it's not as bad as failing health or the like.
If you thought hillary was a crook you probably still think she's a crook. If you don't think she's a crook this probably doesn't change your mind either, and if you think she's a crook but don't care anyway because Trump, well, I don't think it matters either.
This late in the race, after the debates, this isn't a huge deal in my opinion.

He doesn't need to improve it much is the point. If he can recover even 5% of the suburban GOP woman vote who went to Hillary, he's in really good shape to win. Markets are going in the gutter off this news so that should tell you all you need to know about how people think this will play. People have been looking for excuses to not vote Hillary, Trump just keeps ####ing up so much they can't come around to him. But if a Hillary #### up is the last thing on their mind before voting...it's a huge problem, it's the Hail Mary he needed.

Right but there's also a lot more undecideds at this point than a normal cycle. If they break heavy to Trump now she's in massive trouble.

All it took was a single tweet by Jason Chaffetz, lying that the case has been reopened, and the media have almost 100% completely picked that up as the narrative.

If Trump wins the inlaws can kiss any visits I'd have down there goodbye. I'm sure they don't care though.

I wanted to ask the hypothetical question then.
I doubt that the investigation is going to be completed in two weeks. or slightly less.
So lets say that Clinton wins, and they find something that is actual a valid criminal charge. Shat happens to the presidency at that point?

Honestly I don't believe there are many undecideds left to court. There are people ashamed to admit who they are voting for but I don't think they are 'undecided'.
For me, I understand that Hillary is a career politician, and a successful one, so there are obviously going to be skeletons in her closet. Were I an american voter, another investigation into Hillary wouldn't sway my vote because I wouldn't be voting for her I'd be voting against Trump.
If I was a Trump supporter I would be voting for Trump even harder than before but unfortunately no matter how hard I vote I can only vote once.
If I don't think Hillary is a crook, it's going to take more than an investigation to convince me otherwise. If all the murk around Hillary up to this point hasn't made me susceptible to questioning her ethics slightly then another investigation isn't going to tip the scales against her.

They'll do what they probably had already planned to do after dozens of partisan investigations. Impeach her.

Doesn't congress have to vote to impeach her? Which they should if criminal charges are proven true, despite any democrat control
