Gregg with another great save. Just say no to Frasor.

Gregg just has that confidence right now. You have to trust your stuff.

Gregg looks good. Don't want to see Frasor out to save another game unless Gregg blows it, or Gregg has pitched already on back-to-back nights. Jays would likely be 8-0 without Frasor.

Wow what a pathetic crowd for that game tonight. Just over 12,000 people....yikes. Too bad for them, they missed a really good pitching performance from Romero.

Interesting that all 8 Jays games so far there has been a save oppurtunity for the bullpen.

What a performance by Romero, great stuff. Gregg's stuff is pretty sick if he can maintain his command, he and Downs should be closing games. I don't mind Frasor, but he doesn't command his fastball well enough to be a closer.

And I would bet that there will be smaller crowds later in the year.

for the second home game of the year. That is generally the least attended game across the board in MLB.

Jays crowds will get bigger as long as they are winning. The City of Toronto is dying for a winner...any winner.

One of the best pitching performances in blue jays history.
Hopefully Morrow can bounce back tonight

From mlbtraderumors.com

The Blue Jays claimed Canadian third baseman Shawn Bowman off waivers from the Mets, according to a team press release. He'll head to Triple A Las Vegas.
Bowman, 25, hit .294/.346/.458 in 379 Double A plate appearances last year. He has above-average raw power and strong defense, according to Baseball America's '06 Handbook.
