That was pretty cool... similar to what the Stamps did when they unveiled their Black uni's on Labour Day in '94 after warming up the reds

Georgia did something similar last season as well, against Auburn, I believe.

Went to the Tennessee/Vanderbilt game last weekend and got to watch Eric Berry play. That guy is absolutely incredible. He's going to be a top 10 draft pick in 2010 or 2011.
On another note, I think Vanderbilt might have the lousiest fans in college football. The stadium wasn't even full and it was packed mostly with Vols fans.

I'm not sure about this pick for Tennessee, ya if he can pull his dad from TB that would be great for UT, but there are a few things about the signing that I think will make this not work.
#1
He's an outsider to that piece of geography, and if there is a place where it hurts to be an import its south of the Mason Dixon line. Lane is going to be talking to high school coaches who already know Spurrier, Saban and Miles and convince them that they should recommend his program and he deserves the same respect as the other top teams in the SEC.
#2
He's unproven ... and has been given a job that really should go to someone who has proven themselves. I bet he would have been better at Oakland if given the chance, but in the end he failed, and ya he worked out well at USC, but really, if you are a coach, USC is like spandex, it can make any a$$ look good.
#3
He's 33. Too young to have the experience I think you'll probably need to be a winner in the SEC. Lane bit off more than he could chew in the NFL and I think he's done the same here. Go take a non BCS team to a Sugar bowl or something first. THEN go get a Tennessee type job.
Anyways I'm a bit of a vols fan so I hope it goes well, but it just doesn't feel like the right signing.

Not going in. Oregon St., Texas, OU,Tech, Florida, Bama, Cincy, Utah, Penn St., ACC winner, USC, Boise St.
I think Boise will be the first left off unfortunately.

I would have to agree.
However, IF Oregon St. should fall to Oregon tonight, I can see Boise St geting in as USC would then be Pac 10 champs, which would eliminate any other team from that conference from getting into the BCS picture. This possibility just got much bigger as it has been announced that Jacqezz Rogers (Or St's best player) has been scratched from this game with a shoulder injury.
this of course is also predicated on the assumption that USC wins against both Notre dame and UCLA to end the season.

the yellowjackets ran the ball all over georgia. could turn out to be a big day for the ACC, if the noles can pick it up here vs. the gators.

I think Oregon State's QB Moevao may not play in tonight's game as well. Their backup was good enough (barely) to beat Arizona, is he good enough to beat the Ducks? I, for one hope so.

Florida rolls again....they really do look like they cannot be beat at this point.
Oregon up 10 early on Oregon St. if this holds its good news for Boise St.

Montana wins it's first round game 31-13 over Texas St.
Next up the Weber St/Cal Poly winner.

Not that they deserve to be, after losing to Syracuse, but is the Notre Dame/USC game not on TV? I was fully planning on watching that tonight.

ESPN in the states. 14-0 USC.
Oregon is absolutely man-handling Oregon State in Corvalis...up 37-17 at half time.
Also OK State is hanging with the Sooners...7-3 for OK in the 1st.

that was pretty clutch by the beavers to quickly march the ball down field and punch it one in before the half. still, down 20, yeesh.
