There have been 63 shot attempts. With Gaudreau on the ice, the Flames have only gotten two shot attempts and allowed 11. But also... each shot attempt is given a different value based on how dangerous it is judged to be. Factoring into that assessment is shot type, angle, distance, and whether or not it's a rebound or on the rush.
Not all shot attempts count the same. The Leafs' 11 shot attempts with Gaudreau on the ice have been worth a total of 0.69 expected goals. The Flames' two shot attempts have been worth a total of just 0.01.
