Hall should get in the range of $10 million but his injury history will ultimately play a role in how much he receives over a long term contract. The fact that the Devils wanted to move him ASAP and held him out for several games before a deal was struck tells that there are ongoing concerns about his ability to remain healthy. If the Flames were to make a good hockey trade moving Gaudreau at the draft I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in Hall as a UFA but I would be pretty worried about how many games you will get from him over the course of a long term deal. That's something we never really had to worry about with Gaudreau but the fact is that when players of this caliber are out of your lineup for long stretches it really alters the course of a season for a team.

Seems like the Coyotes wanted it to look like he was happy with the trade by contorting his NJ photo into a weird smile. It looks like they simply applied a smile filter.

Hall is the same age as Panarin (allegedly), signing one year later. 6 months older than Stone.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of GMs view age 26 and 27 differently than 28 or 29. Only 5 guys have signed age 28 or later for > 8.5M: Karlsson, Doughty, Price, Kopitar, Bobrovsky (all five were actually 10M+, only Bob changed teams). Bobby Ryan, JVR, and Pacioretty (4x7, signed a year early and taking effect as he turned 31) are the highest paid wingers (7-7.25).
Even going back to age 26-27 guys, there aren't many comps (pure wingers). Panarin, P Kane, Stone, Kucherov, Benn, Skinner, Parise, E Kane.
So the only wingers who have changed teams as UFAs are Panarin, JVR, and Parise (old rules)...
If history is any indication, Hall will end up signing a bad deal (for them) with the Yotes due to sunk cost fallacy.

Many of the contracts you are trying to compare to were signed years ago when the cap was quite different. Thus the comparisons fail.
I believe last summer is the best predictor since the cap number will be closest. I’d expect Hall as a premiere UFA this summer to get 10+ million just like Panarin and Bob.

It's made more obvious because Hall is currently rather clean-shaven.

This seems like something a psychopath, possessive new girlfriend would do... "I took this picture of you and your ex, I removed that b#### and replaced her with me ... you didn't look too happy, so I gave you a nice smile, because you're happy now, and we're going to be together forever"

They also slapped his head over some other player’s body, because those two necks do not belong to the same person.

Sounds familiar to me.... Maybe Hall was involved in the Kennedy assassination somehow?

It's Darcy Kuemper's skinny neck.

Lol, they would look a lot better with Duclair and Domi. Given away for a bag of pucks...

Yeah, no..
I’m thrilled for Duclair but he was never going to be on pace for 40 goals here. He’s on his what? 3rd team since being traded from AZ?
Domi was high maintenance and Tie was being a pain in the ass with team officials.
