Eat Breads goal was so beautiful. I screamed so loud.

Also, I love how Rasmus is celebrating before it even goes in
Credit to how Ryan played that too. He knew what Mangipane would do and held cleared the road for him by holding up the defender

Yep, just when I had to pee for the first time, I missed that beautiful goal. And you're absolutely right, Doc set a pick for Eat Bread. That was gorgeous. I love how the Avs fans said 'Who even is that guy?? Never heard of him' Ha!

I was too busy losing my #### last night after the goal to notice, but I love how Hathaway just mugs him in elation.

Got home from out of town late, so had to watch the game tape delayed. After sliding down Cochrane hill dodging accidents and cars that couldn’t move, finally got to watch the game.

2 unsung heroes on the goals I wanted to point out. On Mangiapane’s goal, Ryan in front of the net causing havoc was critical to that goal. And on Backlund’s PP goal, Bennett really caused that by going to the front of the net and screening Grubauer.

Ryan didn’t even get a point for his contribution. Bennett got an assist for the pass out to Backlund, but it was the immediate drive in front that was the real cause of that goal.

All three flames goals (besides the EN) were caused by traffic in front, and if players aren’t going to the hard areas, it is really difficult to score, especially in the playoffs. That is what Monahan and Lindholm really need to be doing for the top line to contribute.

This is a good comparison imo. I felt like a few of those bubble teams look the the Flames of the past few years. Arizona is another good one. Lots of young talent but lacking those secondary pieces to go from bubble team to contender. If I'm in management for Colorado and Arizona then I'm looking at what the Flames did and trying to emulate that. Easier said than done, of course. But they have a clear case study to follow.

Not legal here, but are you saying you think it adds or subtracts to the hangover? Just curious.

No, they work for Sportsnet. The idea was that the people in management mirror Burke's thinking, and that he hired some of them, and their mindset is you give the guy with experience the start over the guy who deserves it.

That take aged pretty badly pretty quickly though.

Man, last night's game was off the hook!!!

Also something awesome happened in my section. There were a few kids in our section who weren't wearing red shirts. (there was one in a white shirt, a green one and a blue one?) anyways, the guy sitting close to them comes back from intermission from the fanattic with 3 red Tshirts for the kids. Awesome stuff, if you're on here - kudos to you and such a nice thing you did for those boys.

Go flames go!! Lost my damn voice last night haha

Not sure how it effected it, but I woke up groggy but with no hangover. However, I did sleep through 3 alarms and didn't waker up until 11:30, so there's that

more difficult to pace yourself based on a prior history of how many drinks you can have before feeling a certain kind of way. I had a games' worth of beer before the second period started.

The hangover is much more manageable though I think.
