Why do the Sportset guys think Shark's losing is bad for the Flames? The division spots are much more likely than the wildcards. Sharks, Kings and Ducks are all that matter on the OOT.

Considering that top 10 is full of busts doesn’t make you feel confident about bennett. Scouts got that draft very very wrong. Both sam’s were very much overhyped. Doesn’t help that the flames seemed to botch his development

Nothing hurt Bennett more than the circumstances he’s had since being taken off the Backlund line.

He and Jankowski look good together, but Jankowski is struggling as a rookie right now. So what’s the team do? Saddle them with the worst player we have. A player so bad he’s proven to even be able to neutrer Mikael Backlund’s amazing 5v5, while also being able to completely crush Monahan and Gaudreau’s game when he lines up with them.

Go get a good scoring winger, or hell - just get an effective NHL player, and put him on the line.

Jankowski has only shown glimpses still at this point and he's 23. It took Backlund until he was 24/25 to really look like he had things figured out at the NHL level.

I just don't get the "bust" talk in regards to Bennett. Hell, he lead the team in points in December and looked like our best player.

He's also looked like our best even strength player in both playoffs he's been a part of, as an 18 and 20 year old. I really don't get how fickle an bipolar our fanbase can be. Patience is a virtue, especially when dealing with young players.

Even Monahan has looked like an AHLer for weeks at a time

Still though, it's very odd how Bennett seems to be going nowhere. He isn't getting any better which you sort of expect out a 21 year old

I’ve seen no progression in Bennett’s game from his rookie year. Still falls all over the ice, shot is ineffective, passing is below average, and he handles the puck like a grenade. Don’t know what he’s doing in the off season but it’s not working. It will be lucky if he hits 15 goals this year. Looking like a big IF

This is why I just can't cut the cord...we can make fun of the cable/satellite companies all we want but its still the best quality and most reliable way to watch hockey

I can't even imagine, Flames in game 7 OT and my stream keeps freezing or looks like horse####
