I agree with Hrudey that it was incidental.

In reality it would be interference on Glass, but being in that position and after the called back goal, it was not smart to go that near the goalie there.

I always want to get behind Bennett but it's frustrating. Too many offensive zone penalties. Not to mention I truly believe he was the key piece to the Flames rebuild. We needed him to step up to be a number 1 or 2 Center. He's young but I just don't see the hockey iq and skill anymore.

Jankowski has only shown glimpses still at this point and he's 23. It took Backlund until he was 24/25 to really look like he had things figured out at the NHL level.

I just don't get the "bust" talk in regards to Bennett. Hell, he lead the team in points in December and looked like our best player.

He's also looked like our best even strength player in both playoffs he's been a part of, as an 18 and 20 year old. I really don't get how fickle an bipolar our fanbase can be. Patience is a virtue, especially when dealing with young players.

Not that it matters because the PP can’t score, but how is Smith getting mugged and kicked in the junk not a penalty but this is. Bizarre.

Nothing hurt Bennett more than his early success. Never spending any time in the AHL stunted him badly. Unless we want to say the coaching staff is why he’s terrible. Or the “progression isn’t linear” argument maybe works, he’ll start trending up any day now I bet.

Either Nylander or Ehlers would have looked good at 4 in the 2014 draft. I'm disappointed in Bennett.

Hands down one of the dumbest penalties to take I've ever seen. 2.9 seconds left in the period, nothing to gain, horn about to go off. What was he doing? Gotta sit him for a bit. Two dumb penalties already this game.
