Healy is the Sarah Palin of broadcasters. Not ideologically or with regards to popularity, but rather with how their whole shtick seems to revolve around being loud and incomprehensibly stupid for the positions they hold/held.

Pang hasn't been a TSN guy for a while, just like McGuire. Pang contributes to a lot of broadcasts - Blues games, NBCSN, Fox, and so on.

From the archives... Healy making an ass out of himself
Quote:
All those wonderful rule modifications in the National Hockey League's new ice age, proclaimed the TV dude, will effectively serve to take coaching out of the game. The implication, seemingly, was the skill of players -- not the tactics of bench bosses -- would rule the day.
Calgary Flames head coach and general manager Darryl Sutter smiled wryly upon hearing the theory.
"As far as taking coaching out of the game," he retorted, "I would say the coaches who consistently do a good job, that's usually where the players have the most success."
Sutter then asked about the identity of the hypothesis' author -- TSN's Glenn Healy. The simple clue "a former goaltender" was more than enough to put Sutter on the right track.
"A former backup goaltender, right?" quipped the Flames boss. "Well, he didn't do a very good job for his coaches."

Sucks again to be the Oilers who get crappy Drew Remenda. I can't wait until they broadcast a game against the Sharks where Remenda will spooge all over the place complimenting the San Jose players. What a joke that guy is.
I am also incredibly excited to see Romanuk return. I was really sad to see him only doing international events and only get to hear him do the Spengler Cup every Christmas. It'll be great to hear him again doing regular broadcasts. Really an underrated talent.

Spot on, especially as pertains to Romanuk. In a recent Spengler, his call of "robbed by Burglr" was fantastic. Great hockey guy with a good flow in his broadcast to boot.

This is great news. Rick Ball was great for CBC. I actually thought he was one of the best they had.

And several other networks. Which distinguishes him from Randorf and Johnson, who worked exclusively for TSN.

Yeah, Panger wasn't really at TSN very much at all in recent years. He was more of a St. Louis Blues guy than anything, most recently.

Yeah Pang was the colour guy for Blues games on FS Midwest, I think he only really did TSN in the post season after FS was done broadcasting games

So does Don Cherry do Coaches Corner by himself or does he have a co-host?

Well, colour me excited
Going to be a great season. As others have said, this would be a top pairing for any major network, national broadcast. To have them as an every game regional team is a huge coup.
