The injuries to your dline killed the stamps. Sheets ran outside at will.
Go riders for the grey cup at home againdt the ghosts of riders past.

You dont think the coaches hammered down the importance of ball security all week? maybe after the Fuller fumble they did? or maybe after the Price fumble? or maybe after Taylor's first half Punt return almost lost fumble? or maybe Sinopli's fumble?
This is on the players, not the coaches. That was like they'd taken money to throw the game.

There were other minor points/turnovers where momentum could've swung the other way, and you can talk all day about line of scrimmage, which the Stamps were hurting in, but the big turning point which supercedes everything for the Stamps was the Maurice Price turnover, and it's not even close.
The score was 15 - 6 at the time. Price fumbled on the Sask 18. Surely at least 3 or 7 points for the Stamps if he falls to the ground. To boot, the field flips 50 yards the other way, with a 35yd return and 15 yard penalty. Shorter field and Durant gets a TD a couple minutes later on that drive to make it 21-6.
But the huge letdown with that fumble for the Stamps and for Glenn in particular, and the boost for the Riders that they're getting all these breaks, and that momentum was as big as the 50 yard turnaround and 14 point swing.
Calgary never recovered. 3 more fumbles and 2 interceptions after that.
Horrible finish, likley the end of Glenn (who will take far too much blind blame for this loss, after 2 solid years of football), and hopefully the end of Tate who really looks like he's not all there in most situations and interviews. Toss in the requistie bad calls (though not affecting the game) and its the quick end to another season a game too early.
Stamps at 15-4 this year, further reinforcing the fact that the CFL really doesn't start until after Thanksgiving, and the first 14 weeks are summer filler.
Hoping for a Burris miracle next week, but the winner of the West was always going to win the GC most likely this year.

Absolutely they did, but the players weren't focused. On one of the third down gambles by the Riders the Stamps were completely unprepared and had no clue what was going on. I don't think the coaches deserve all the blame but they are part of the problem of what happened tonight.
Nice to see Mo Price's comments backfire on him

Stamps were the class of the league during the regular season but could not peak down the stretch. Injuries to the D-Line were a big factor today, as were the Stamps inability to answer on offence. They almost did with that big catch and run to Mo Price, but his subsequent fumble was a killer. Knew right then and there that the Stamps would not win this game, even though I was hoping for a comeback once Tate replaced Glenn. Alas, it was not to be.
Let the Bo Levi Mitchell era begin!

It's all about who wants it more. I was very worried coming into this game we beat them twice in row and Saskatchewan was a very pissed off team. Coming into this game you knew what team was the most motivated. They took it to us in the trenches and they were more pumped up and it showed on the field. Coming into this game reminded of the the 93 western final, that year we had the most talent but Edmonton was so geared up to beat us they took us down with ease. Hats off to the Riders they were the better prepared team and wanted to win it more than we did. Should be a great game next week. Let's hope it's a great a Grey Cup.

I'm glad those high-tech handwarmers the Stamps had helped them hold on to the ball.

Stamps linebacker Deron Mayo had 14 tackles. That’s an amazing stat and shows he never gave up on a play.
It also shows that the Riders had the ball an awful lot (a whopping 40:42 to be exact).

I think that shows how poor the Dline of the stamps played. Every running play was getting to the line backers. This game was lost for the stamps when the D Tackles got injured in BC.
It forced the stamps to either Play man D which Taj and Dressler could exploit or if the linebackers droped into coverage they just run off tackle.

Well, we totally outmatched them on Special Teams, however absolutely nothing else.
The turnovers were devastating momentum changers. And injuries finally caught up to the Stamps.
The cold does interesting things to an iPhone battery. I think mine shut off due to it thinking the batteries were dead about 5 times yesterday, Then I'd warm it up, and it would still have plenty of battery.

The cfl needs to evaluate roster flexibility. We had to play all our starters in BC in a meaningless game, and it cost is dearly.
As soon as it happened everyone knew it would a devastating blow to our team. Johnson and bolden had been playing great.
In top of that we lost our #1 receiver and played without nik Lewis.
Hopefully we can field a full roster next season. It's just hard to get over. We waited so long from last years grey cup loss to get to this point. 14 wins, and have 8 turnovers and injuries derail a title shot.
We need a upgrade at MLB. Simpson isn't good at all and needs to be replaced.

I think the CFL should look at adding 4 or 5 spots to the Game Day Roster. With special teams making up a large portion of the game (I think the actual number of special teams plays in an average game is higher than 1/3) and with the amount of defensive starters playing on special teams eventually they are going to get worn out and hurt

Man what a time to lay an absolute egg.
7 turnovers is hard to believe, the Riders D just kept making big plays, as well as a lot of mental weakness from the Stamps.
Too bad, it was an amazing season from Cornish, I do like Kevin Glenn, he seems like a good guy, and doesn't deserve any blame.
I hate the Riders, and I like the Ti-Cats so its an easy decision for me who I want to win the Grey Cup.

Gaffe by Taylor yes. But our punter was better, Kicker was better, kick coverage was better, and return game was better except for the one gaffe, but that gaffe was essentially when the game was already out of reach.
Punting and kicking wasn't even remotely close.
