I dont think its bashing. Exxon Mobile Canada decided to copy their counterpart in Houston and went to a business park model instead of a downtown model. If you were expecting praise from a Sky Scraper focussed thread then I think you need to look somewhere else.

If there are indeed balconies up there, I doubt they will get much use. These will be easily the highest residential units in Calgary. Probably going to be pretty windy.

Looks pretty nice. The renderings make it look like that building will blind drivers in a 30 mile radius, however.

Imperial can go pound sand in Quarry Park by themselves. They had an opportunity to make a mark downtown and they took their ball and went home. There is a unique O&G culture in downtown Calgary which they totally disregarded by moving to the burbs. Good luck attracting top-quality talent to go work there.
