Is merc a Benz? Must be some newfangled kid slang as before those two posts I’ve never heard a Mercedes referred to as a Merc. Or is it some other car altogether that I’ve not heard of.
I believe Merc is a vagina wig. Either that or an old wooden ship.
However, I've been wrong before.

Merc is the European short-form of Mercedes-Benz, whereas North America tends to use Benz.
Merc could also refer to Mercury Marine, who built the LT5 engine fitted to the original Corvette ZR-1. Or if you're really old and crusty, a Mercury which was Ford's 'Buick' competitor. (Ford is to Chevy as Mercury iswas to Buick as Lincoln is to Cadillac.)

Yeah, the whole "'Merc' = Mercedes-Benz" thing is a chiefly British nickname in my experience, one which has become ingrained in younger North Americans who watched a lot of Top Gear and only vaguely remember Mercury.

well I am British so yes, merc = Mercedes and no car ever got me as many cuddles as the drop top sl500, so ugly or not it paid for itself, I don't believe any Tesla will earn you a cuddle with some random date

1.5x not even close! Twitter had and still has a tiny user base and only ever made money a couple of years, there is no way it was ever worth more than 5 to 10 billion
Since we are talking dumb Tesla things here...Tesla cars have the charging port at the back left corner. This has allowed Tesla to use very short charging cables on their superchargers. Win on cost savings, right? Well this looks to be too short for the CT. You can see it had to back in biasing the passenger side of the space, and have the hitch basically in contact with the charger to plug it in. Seems like something they should have thought through, maybe had it right on the back corner. But then it might ruin the beautiful lines of this majestic beast.
Also, for a vehicle supposedly having a Q3 launch event, they sure look like they have a lot of testing is going on.
