Layton's the leader most responsible for the Conservative majority. Well, him and Ignatieff.

Well to be fair, Obama's topic was way more interesting.

Harper's speech was well done. He didn't repeat the same thing 4 times like in some others.

Wow, Harper's son has really grown. I remember when he was just a tiny kid.

That was not a well done speech. Harper just doesn't have it in him to give a great speech.

To be fair, Canadian Leaders don't really have the same topics to make a grand speech upon (Death, Destruction, Bringing someone to Justice for Death and Destruction, etc.). Speeches on winning an election kinda pale in comparison.

It's also hard to make a good speech in TWO languages. It breaks up the rhythm.

How can so many people get confused by First Past the Post? How many times has CTV pulled a quote off Twitter asking about how 40% becomes a majority?

Why are the complaints about this country lacking proportional representation finally showing up after the Conservatives win a majority? What about the Liberals when they had their majorities? Where were the complaints then?

It would be nearly impossible to gain a majority in a country with as many political parties as Canada if proportional representation was used.

Why wouldn't they applaud Layton? The rise of the NDP was one of the big reasons why the Conservatives won their majority!
