Always so much fun to watch these two teams no matter where they are in the standings. The "Where's Roger?" chant last night at Fenway was hilarious. A hell of a game too, Ortiz just missed that homer in the 9th.

yeesh, the rays are roughing up halliday...it's 7-1 in the top of the 4th. yikes. need to turn this baby around before it's really embarassing. giving the rookie for the rays making his first big league start a great shot at a W.

even though Tbay arn't the red sox, a big comback win in the bottom of the 9th could do wonders for the confidence and team building...good stuff at the end tonight, and way to pick up halliday on a night when he didn't have it...god knows he's picked up the offence numerous times when they haven't had it.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays are the worst AAAA team in baseball. What a ridiculous comeback by the Jays.

Well this is a series the Jays need to sweep and get themselves back over .500 if they have any aspirations of making any noise this summer. This game seemed to set up well with Halladay who's killed the D-Rays going against a guy in his first start ever in the bigs. So when your ace gets lit up by the 4th inning and you're down 8-1 and get 6 in the ninth it is a pretty important win coming back even if it is TB. The Jays have certainly come back from the dead a bit here and need to keep the momentum going here.

As tough as it is to actually give props to a team that just had a disgusting meltdown like the one the Rays did last night, this team is finally going in the right direction. Upton, Shields, Kazmir, Crawford are all going to be all stars for many years to come

Hasn't "Great young talent" been the label attached to the Rays for about 5 years now?

I think previously it was just young talent associated with them. Now that some of that talents such as Crawford and Baldelli have matured the new batch of young guys aren't expected to carry the team like many of the young talent previously was because of the aforemention garbage vets the team had.
I don't expect them to compete for the divison tilte any time soon but I also don't expect them to have a ton more games where they give the game away with intentional walks to guys hitting .220 and wild pitches either.
