He is not playing much if at all.
As bad as Hiller was on the third goal...Bennett was worse.
On the goal...he was soft defending and had no intention of being in the shooting lane when Nylander shot.

He looks gun-shy.

If bollig had kept his feet moving and powered through he probably wouldn't drawn a penalty.

Dum-dum play from him.

The tell tale sign of a guy who has zero confidence.

And it just makes it worse when he plays like that in trying to get better.

If the team in front of him can pull their weight and we win this, the hard hat has to go to Hiller.

Actually, on 2nd thought, I'm not sure the hard hat will suffice.
Had a couple drinks tonight bud? lol

Yes he's absolutely horrible. 2 of the 3 goals were his fault.

But trying to blame him for every single goal he lets in? That's just silly, the occasional goal he lets in is legit.

The overall message should be "Hiller effing sucks" of which everyone can agree. the minutia of how to describe his suckage game to game is is what is so fracking annoying from the likes of you or others who project my different POV as defending the fracking player.

You're right. He deserves a long term contract extension. With the Edmonton Oilers.

Powered through? That was textbook interference. He shouldn't have to power through anybody, he was pursuing the puck.

Not aimed at you but while I don't like Hiller either, and want him gone, the constant bellyaching with the same tired lines which may or may not apply to a goal are pretty annoying. It's so constant it happens when he doesn't even dress.

I was only responding to your post that "nobody saves that 3rd one" which is so far from the truth I couldn't just leave it alone

Rinat Valiev is listed as Romanian on the NHL site and Leaf's site, but Russian everywhere else. WTF.

Rick Bell: 2:00 left, Jonas Hiller hasn't moved yet.

Was he commenting on Hartley pulling him for the extra attacker, or just on his goaltending tonight?

Bennett trying to do everything at full-speed. Needs to learn how to slowdown a bit sometimes.

Hiller is at fault probably for 50%-75% of the goals scored on him (rough estimate). But if you tell me it's 100% then I'm forced to call BS
