Can't think of anything eh? You can't find a single example of Trudeau attacking Alberta. How amusing. One one hand you say "I hope they dump him because I would like someone I can vote for."
Now you say you won't vote for him because he continually attacks Alberta. No examples of the supposedly egregious attacks and it's "I meant the Liberals in general." So just to clarify...the Liberals have been horrifically attacking Alberta (allegedly) bit I'd they had a different leader you would vote for them. Makes complete sense to me!
Are you sure you aren't one of the actors in the CPC commercial who would vote for Justin "in a few years"?

"Canada isn't doing well right now because it's Albertans who control our community and socio-democratic agenda. It doesn't work," Trudeau told interviewer Patrick Lagacé.
When asked whether he thought Canada was "better served when there are more Quebecers in charge than Albertans," Trudeau replied, "I'm a Liberal, so of course I think so, yes.

Those allegations have not been proven and the federal government has done everything in its power to make the appeals process for IRFAN as difficult as possible, so take it with a huge grain of salt.

Thats not the point of how you are characterizing his comments.
If you had said "MP labels NDP and libs siding with quasi terrorist group" and listed reason and support and discuss the issue then you would have a point.
But you said "More embarrassing rhetoric from the Conservatives. Shades of Vic Toews."
Now you are just trying to get a rise.

Except neither the NDP or Libs are siding with the group. They're asking the Conservatives to address a report, only a fraction of which was related to defunding and harassing charity organizations. It was utter hyperbole by Lagace , designed to deflect valid criticisms.

It's a quote from 2010, hardly ancient history.

Well its five years old, and even that article is a couple years old. It was back during the byelection when the CPC was worried that Crockatt would lose. My favorite part about that article was the blasts about the NEP though. I hope I am around for the centenary of that and to see if the CPC is still using it.

The gist of the firewall letter was that Alberta should accrue the same powers and latitude that Quebec already enjoys within confederation. It is no where near the same league as what was obviously a xenophobic position put forward by Trudeau.

well the gist of the firewall letter was....well a firewall! He was paranoid about the federal government attempting to steal Alberta's wealth and encroaching on provincial jurisdiction. I'm not sure it gets more xenophobic than that.

I think this a problem though, you can't blame the criminal justice system for handing out more punishment to a group that is committing more crimes.
You have to look at the social economic system that is allowing large groups of people to get stuck in these damaging cycles of, poverty, under employment, addiction, crime, domestic violence.
Complaining their are more Natives in Canadian jails, or more Blacks in American jails doesn't really do anything when they are committing more crimes. You have to deal with the root causes, but that will not be an instant fix. There will still be allot of people out there for a long time for whom the damage done will continue to cause problems, which will continue to skew the statistics.

When the Ferguson police department has 93% of their arrests against black people, do you honestly think 93% of the crimes being done in Ferguson Missouri are being done by black people?
