I fancy myself a more bipolar version of Johnny Lawrence, who loves Gaudreau and Huberdeau. I don't know karate and I don't get the girl, but I lose a bunch and I could drink him under the table and out cocaine Silver, same day, no problem
I got mad sensei gifts too, kinda jedi mind tricky... but only use it so I'm not homeless and eating out of dumpsters
I could also out write a bunch of ya, even pound all the grammar. But it's easier to drink/smoke/snort up, bottle it, and jump unto fights that haven't even started yet
I’m gonna see if I can get tickets to the Flames/Jackets game in Columbus. Should be a fun game
Johnny’s return to Calgary on January 21 should be a fun one.
I was a big fan when he was in Calgary but he is going to get booed worse than Adam Fox and it’s going to be great. Yes he’ll get a nice ovation when they do the little welcome back video — and he’s earned it — but the rest of the night it’s going to be loud and and bitter and awesome.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the tribute video gets booed.

I don't get the booing, personally. It'll just make the fans look petty
Its sports?
I'd say that most of the people on CP are more engaged fans, we care about the team from its assets, its cap room, etc. So there is a lot more passion here than in the average fan in the stand.
That being said, the average or casual fan probably just thinks: "He doesnt play for us anymore so screw that guy!"
An engaged fan understands the nuances and technicalities and everything else that goes along with it and what his contributions were. But....at the end of the day...."He doesnt play for us anymore so screw that guy."
They bought the ticket, they can do what they want.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Would you send a scrapbook to your ex girlfriend who dumped you for some loser
I would. Certainly.
'The Fans' is one thing. People often think of fans as a cohesive, homogenous group when in reality they are a very disparate veritable horde of Randos with no real 'reputation' to speak of or worry about.
The organization on the other hand still has to live and do business in this very tiny little bubble that is the Hockey World. It is in their vested interest to remain as classy as possible as they do have to concern themselves with their reputation to those within that little bubble, such as other players and potential players.

No, but Gaudreau was never my girlfriend, and he didn't dump me. He made a business decision on the basis of what he deemed best for him and his family.
