They did in the 5 in 3 but not in the final powerplay.

You mean the Philly teams Hartnell was on that never won anything? That's an odd comparison for a pro-Edmonton outfit to bring up.

The team that came back from 0-3.

Also how annoying is it when they refer to the Oilers as the Oil or the players calling them the Oil.

The only have one poweplay unit. If other guys were out there, then they were just randos doing rando things.

I cringed when Skinner did that.

One of the many things I don't miss either watching ABC instead of Sportsnet is having to listen to Cuthbert say "Oil Change".

I'm not from Calgary or Edmonton but I've spent considerable time in both cities. I hate the City of Edmonton. It's the trashiest place I've ever been to.

You're clearing hanging out in the wrong spots of Edmonton

I also think it was a bit of a memory jog back to what happened to them against Vegas in last year's finals.

It's the MO. It's what they do. They love to pad individual stats and no better way to do that when the other team is already given up staying in the game. 96.875% of the league would sit back and protect the lead but Edmonton continues to press. They want to show the world how much their players can score.

Same.

If anyone can do it the Oil can do it, made me rage.

Reinhart has looked invisible. 57 goals during the season, and just 9 so far in the playoffs.

Time to get that number up tomorrow.

Some talk of Lomberg coming into the series to replace Lorentz- he was skating today on that line. Though Maurice wouldn't confirm anything- a couple regulars not skating today (Bennett, Tkachuk) but supposedly fine.

Can't say I know much about Lorentz- Cali (or others than watch the panthers) you can probably shed some light here.... good idea to put in Lomberg?
I might be talking out of my backside here and I love how Lomberg plays, but if playing a disciplined, suffocating game is the key Lomberg tends to run around like a missile. Could also be an injury to Lorentz?

This is the first chance Maurice has had a chance this series to make a change. Winning 3 in a row teams usually don't touch the lineup.

Friedman and Marek talking about McDavid winning the Conn Smythe even if they lose the series on 32 thoughts, as long as Edmonton wins Game 5.

Marek said after game 2 that every Canadian wasn’t happy with the Oilers being down 2-0. I made sure to tweet him and remind him I was pretty happy.

I only watch his show if the Oilers lose otherwise it’s another gushfest.
