The 42 Leafs. Just trying to find something to give them hope. Interviews with Scott Hartnell talking about how this Oiler team reminds him of the Philly teams.
You mean the Philly teams Hartnell was on that never won anything? That's an odd comparison for a pro-Edmonton outfit to bring up.
This site is not a very good representation of the relationship between Calgary and Edmonton. There are many things the 2 cities agree on. Sports is just not one of them.
My daughter lives in Calgary so I am there often. It is a great city but would I cheer for a Calgary team? ABC.
I'm not from Calgary or Edmonton but I've spent considerable time in both cities. I hate the City of Edmonton. It's the trashiest place I've ever been to.

You're clearing hanging out in the wrong spots of Edmonton

The more I think about this, the more I think running up the score was the best thing EDM could have done (for our purposes). I'm sure Florida's been super pissed off the last couple days and are just dying to get out there again. I also think it was a bit of a memory jog back to what happened to them against Vegas in last year's finals.

It's the MO. It's what they do. They love to pad individual stats and no better way to do that when the other team is already given up staying in the game. 96.875% of the league would sit back and protect the lead but Edmonton continues to press. They want to show the world how much their players can score.
Some talk of Lomberg coming into the series to replace Lorentz- he was skating today on that line. Though Maurice wouldn't confirm anything- a couple regulars not skating today (Bennett, Tkachuk) but supposedly fine.
Can't say I know much about Lorentz- Cali (or others than watch the panthers) you can probably shed some light here.... good idea to put in Lomberg?
I might be talking out of my backside here and I love how Lomberg plays, but if playing a disciplined, suffocating game is the key Lomberg tends to run around like a missile. Could also be an injury to Lorentz?

This is the first chance Maurice has had a chance this series to make a change. Winning 3 in a row teams usually don't touch the lineup.
