Couple guys might go on the IR but that is pretty normal.

It really should not be any higher than that. For as much skill as Pettersson has he sure hasn't accomished much of anything. He can't seem to finish a season, and he has yet to score a point/GP.

I think it is fair to question the longterm projections of the kid.

Nah. We are after all discussing the whiniest franchise in the league (Oilers may be neck and neck now) that's always believed the league is out to get them and they are so hard done by. The NHL doesn't make decisions in a vacuum and all of this was agreed on by the players union prior to the season. Other teams have had to go through this. Look I'm glad for them that they got a few more days off this weekend but they should still have to lace up the skates and get back to their jobs here.
