worry about playing hard and winning a game, not about playing games with the puck.

Missed the game, fortunately. Really not too keen on adjusting my life these days for a game every second day of uninspiring hockey. Especially 5pm starts and 3pm starts, what the hell.

Was hoping Sutter would have an instant turnaround effect but that's obviously not realistic. If this season is a wash so be it. Make steps to turn into a better team for next season. As long as somebody bursts the Coilers bubble at some point I can live with a bad season. And oilers fans can STFU, we may have been mediocre for a while but they have been TERRIBLE for many, many years. For once their team is doing well in the standings. I actually saw a media guy suggest Nurse should be a possible Norris candidate. Funniest thing I have ever heard.

Keep Tanev, Markstrom, eatbread and lindholm. Not married to anybody else on the flames at this point.

Interesting to read the mix of comments on Ras and the puck. Personally, I think it was classless and clueless. The kid stoned the Flames; he played a calm composed game and a bunch of crybaby millionaire soft-as-butter players tried to take his souvenir. Not a good look, and it got a lot of play from the media. Unfavourably.

I'm surprised and disappointed in how that played out (game and puck alike), but churlish tantrums really aren't the way to respond. Flames had their chances and didn't take them. They have only themselves to blame.

It *did* take one of the Lineys going over to Ras to get him to drop the puck...he didn't do it voluntarily. Wanna make a statement? Do it on the ice Ras.

Pronger is one of the best to ever do it, and hasn’t played in the league since 2012. And when he stole the puck, he was trying to get under the skin of his opponents in the Stanley Cup Final.

Crosby was widely called a whiner early on. No pass given. Marchand is Canadian and he was criticized a lot for trolling stuff like the licking. Sean Avery is Canadian and basically got blacklisted for doing stupid classless stuff.
