I'm also getting sick of Backlund. Throw a check man. Sheesh.

Haha wow, yes all that luck and bounces was the reason they came back so much. Nothing to do with hard work and belief.

The Flames have so many forwards that cannot generate a scoring chance at even strength. Even previously useful players are just fumbling the puck at every chance now (Mangiapane, Backlund, etc.)

So many blackholes out there for the most part right now, just killing time for the Lindholm/Tkachuk pair to go do something. If the team can't draw penalties, we have no chance of staying in a game it seems.

Not a single player has gone to the net this game. Clean looks for Price on every single shot.

Well, the Capitals scored 4 straight in 5 minutes after falling down 3-0 to the Isles so it's not impossible!

Our secondary scoring is on par with the oilers right now. Potentially worse.

I have to say that I have found Mang to be super underwhelming this year. I had a lot of high hopes for him this year, but man he’s throwing pucks away all over the place!

We don’t have any legit RWs. Ecspecially with Dube out. We mock EDMs line up but 3/4 of our RW right now are budget guys on the league minimum we picked up this off season. When people go off about depth these last couple weeks I genuinely have been scratching my head wondering WTF they are talking about.

The 5 day break so early in the season put the Flames at a significant disadvantage with essentially no preseason.

Credit where it’s due. I’ve heard many excuses, thought I’d heard all. But this is new on me.

Every shift of his looks like that one of PLD before the trade where he barely even skated

The Dube injury has affected this team even more than I feared it might. I want to see how these guys perform with him in the lineup before writing off this season.

I honestly think benching Robinson was a bad move today. We need some energy and some spunk, and we just seem flat. Nordstrom has no business playing when he's been playing like this. I don't think this game is as bad as a lot of posters are saying it is, but hey, maybe I'm just an optimist.

Pretty hard to blame the coach though, the players play the game. Can't blame the GM, he has put together a pretty good team on paper, the pieces are there.

Took my post totally out of context

They haven't been bad like Montreal thus haven't drafted high

IF they were so great, they wouldn't have had to come back so much.

I hope the Flames get better, because I love watching them, but in '14 they were just another inconsistent team. I'm so tired of people missing a Hartley team that was nothing but mediocre.

Chicken & egg though. Players are good soldiers, try to carry out the game plan.
