I get they are willing to take on contact to get the pick/prospect assets but Engelland as a free agent doesn't fit that bill.... I guess at the very least they do need some NHL quality players on your team does that mean Engelland gets above market value contract from LV or he values the location so much he's willing to sacrifice a chance for team success?

He lives there in the off-season.

LOL. When were they ever going to get a tier 1 player from this draft? They passed on Vatanen and Dumba for Theodore and Tuch. Neither of those is a draft pick. Those are young NHLers or prospects with some development already. Get your facts right.
Some of the reactions on here are absurd. Do people not think before they type?

For sure. Agents have loose lips. They keep the Friedmans and McKenzies of the world employed.

man am I tired of this kind of crap.
He's a grown man, I'm sure he has a pretty good grasp on what the word disgusting means.
If he wants to use it in this context let him.

This is CalgaryPuck. The more likely "worst team in league history" is ALWAYS the Flames themselves. Get with the program!

How many goaltenders have they selected? Fleury and Berube. I would bet that Vegas selects Pickard from Colorado. Very surprised they passed on Mrazek.

You seriously get offended when people say something you disagree with, like they are trying to insult you or something. It's embarrassing.

Was this a necessary response to my post that didn't insult anyone?
Put me on ignore forever and be done. Your constant desire to argue with almost everyone is unbelievable.
You are not a good person and add nothing to this discussion. Don't insult everyone you disagree with.

I know they weren't going to get any tier 1 players. I just commented that the team so far looks pretty bad. Getting prospects/draft picks instead of established players means they are going to be even less competitive in the short run.
But nice overreaction.

VERY rough early line up for the VGK. Many players are in the wrong spots and a few are probably not even on the team yet nor will ever be! Also the draft isn't done, again, just for fun.
