It's official....Giordano's injury is season ending.

I really want to believe Millions, but all other news today seems to be negative.

Gio could easily have been doing leg only workouts and could have some ligament injury that we can't see or doesn't require a sling.

Just feels like another one of those things where Millions sees something and makes his own conclusion based on that.

If it's a minor injury, why wouldn't the team just say so? I'm sceptical too Matt.

I will be a little skeptical until I actually see his name on the starting roster tonight.

As others mentioned with Stajan and Raymond on leave the roster space isn't an issue.

They could keep him in warmup tonight to make it looks like he's close, and then they don't deal from a position of weakness on deadline day (last game before the deadline tonight, and sounds like teams are trying to take advantage of those with injuries). It's easy to skate around in warmup if it's just an arm injury.

(meant to quote sureLoss about the bicep tear) I am actually recovering from that right now. I tore it at the elbow though which is fairly rare. If you tear it at the shoulder they often don't fix it and just let the other muscles compensate. Although, I am sure they don't recommend being an NHL defenceman and returning after one day. I did play two more games after I did mine though.
