Bobs suit was on point lastnight. I love this hockey team I think we stick with this group and just make some additions and good drafting were solid. We got good vets teaching the young guys good things. Character guys like stajan not ryan smyth or fetence or any other oiler bum

Haha awesome. They need an animation of that every time Scrivens gets scored on. I don't think I'd bother with online or be a GM anymore, I would just play as the Flames vs. Oilers over and over again.
Is it not available for the One or PS4 though? Geez EA, you can put out a new cover on a days notice but can't get your game made for the new consoles

I have two thoughts on this incident...
1) If Hall is showing emotion, he should show it on the ice, not on the bench
2) Eakins made it an issue because that's not how a professional acts, that's how a spoiled child acts.

Hall and Eakins are both babies. Too funny. Love that they are stuck with this chump.

On another note, what a brutal team the Oilers are. There was absolutely no pride there at all. If Scrivens had given up like the rest of the team this one would have easily gone into double digits. That team is rotting from the inside out and I LOVE IT!

NHL 15 needs to add the "jersey tossed on the ice perk"
As a complete side note - fans can be ejected for throwing anything onto the ice and at some point I believe it turns into a penalty for the home team. How epic would it be for Oiler fans to organize hundreds of jerseys being tossed on the ice!

If you have this game on PVR as I do, I strongly suggest watching the 3rd period again. Wow! It's crazy. McGrattan and Westgarth are full on dangling out there. It could have easily been 10-1 or 11-1.

watching this made me want Mcgrattan with this team long term. He's glue, even if he can't play anymore let him be a coach of some type. Not many teams you have a guy that can crack skulls hugging and whispering into his teammates ear like he's his brother.

Westgarth and McGrats would have had a full on bash brothers 2 on 0 were it not for the puck being hit with a high stick. Westgarth had a nice touch to it too just batting it down.

I was very impressed with his eye-hand coordination there and on his tip-in goal. Impressed and pleasantly surprised!

3 straight number one picks used on forwards.....and the completely talentless Flames still have more goals scored than the Oilers. Not only are hey awful at defence, they can't even score goals worth a damn.

I also was at that game. Ron Fournier went from being one of the most hated ref's in Calgary to one of the most popular with that one ejection.

Wether online or in person, the only time I have heard the term 'dumpster fire' is in the context of describing the Edmonton Oilers.

This has already been disproved; there was a 10-1 game in '96.
EDIT: Watching the after hours segment and Healy has full on become a parody of himself. His assessment of Edmonton: "It's a full team effort! They're -35 as a group!" Well, yes, Heals, we can read the scoreboard. There are 5 guys on the ice, the team lost by 7 goals, unless there was a power play involved it's going to be -35. How is this guy such a complete and utter moron? How can you possibly pay someone for this "insight"?

Yeah funny thing was there was a hockey game going on when Eakins blew up. Yet he thought it was more important to vent for a few minutes than actually coach.
Post-game, he simply described what happened during the game like he was an outsider. Thought the first period was good, then had a meltdown in the second and couldn't recover. Well yeah, that's what everyone saw.. how about some insight? The guy is simply no good

For anyone who was at Rexall, who were the 3 stars of the game?
This is of course assuming the 3 star selection is different at the arena vs CBC broadcast
