I dunno about that. Would you consider Crosby injury prone? Lindros? Savard? They got concussion after concussion.

Some players are more prone to concussions than others.

If the Flames find themselves on the outside looking in by trade deadline I think the following would be an interesting trade

To Blues:
Jokinen
Stempniak
mid level prospect e.g. Nemisz
1st rounder 2012

To Flames
Rattie
Stewart
Berglund
1st rounder 2012.

The Blues have lacked a true #2 center all year while McDonald has been injured and Berglund has been struggling to step up his game with the injuries. He may do good with a change of scenery and would also be able to shoulder some of the loss the Flames would undoubtedly receive up the middle with the departure of Jokinen. For the Blues adding a guy like Jokinen as well as Stempniak who had his best years in St. Louis, helps solidify their top 6 even with the departure of struggling forward Stewart and Center Berglund.

Could be a pretty good trade for both teams and it works dollar wise for both teams as well. We would be taking on the two struggling yet younger players for the two older players who are producing at a better clip but we lack youth where as St. Louis could use some experince going into what looks like a lengthy playoff run..... and we would get Rattie.

/dream scenerio trade

^^^^ NHL12 would laugh at that trade proposal. Why on earth would the Blues make that trade?

Why would they ever give up any of those guys for a 33 year old center and streaky 20 goal scorer? I could see St.louis maybe giving up Stewart, but more along the lines of Bartschi plus. However I would do Bartschi + for Schwartz.

If Feaster pulled off that trade he deserves a life time supply of blow-J's. That entire offer is barely enough Berglund/Stewart and Rattie, let all all 4 pieces.

Bartschi finished with a hattrick and an assist in a 5-4 win.

What number does he take when he is playing on the second line next year? I want to get that jersey pre-made.

Or I just jinxed him. Ah balls.

Maybe 27 is Derek Smith gives it up. I would like to see him in a high number - 80s-90s

I like 50's and 70's numbers. 52, 57, 71 and 77 are my favorite.

77 for my man Ray. 67 is a good one too. I could see him taking 92 though.
