Nope the last scene in the movie is Sam waking up at midnight feeling kind of edgy. He walks over to a tree and see's a knot hole and proceeds to make sweet love to it.

As the film fades to black we hear an ent voice screaming in disgust.

Seriously its in the original script.

I thought these movies were great, and that can't be just my nerdiness talking bacuse my wife likes them too. The extended versions were way better than the theatrical ones too.

Smart plan imo, you should always keep your extended edition shrink wrapped.

Seriously though - LOTR has had so many friggin' different editions already that even I (a money grubbing a-hole) think they're getting too greedy. With all the formats, collector editions, bonus material discs, it's starting to sound like "LOTR, brought to you by The Beatles".

Finished watching Fellowship of the Ring, but postponed The Two Towers and RoTK because I didn't have the time.

Just watching The Two Towers now and I forgot how awesome this movie is, I thought it was super slow but only an hour in and it is so much better than Fellowship.

Can't wait to watch Return of the King on Friday.

LOTR movies are by far my favourite of all time..

We will see if the GL movie next summer can give them a run for their money, because so far no movie has even come close. You want to talk over rated, lets talk about Dancing with Wolves 2.

What's GL? I know The Hobbit is coming out in 2011, but that is TH...

I think most people would agree Avatar is the most over-rated movie of all time. I would hope so.

Hobbit Movie News:

Peter Jackson says 2nd ‘Hobbit’ script is finished

April 16th, 2010 by MrCere | Discuss
Moviefone scored an interview with Peter Jackson about the pair of ‘Hobbit’ movies that have been burning up internet bandwidth as every site remotely related to popular culture has been scrambling to get the lowdown on what in the devil has been going on. Director Guillermo del Toro has feed us information on our message boards and we have some reliable sources, but producer Jackson set the record strait on a couple of important facts:
* He says the 2nd script is now finished. “So the studio’s got both scripts now, which is a milestone,” said Jackson.
* The two movies haven’t been “delayed” because they never had a schedule
* No actors have been cast because the film hasn’t received a greenlight from the studios
* He confirmed
our report about the MGM situation slowing up the start of production

But LOTR is soooo over rated. Once was enough. I don't want to see Bilbo act like Hellboy. Ryan Reynolds is awesome. Martin Campbell did Goldeneye and Casino Royale!

/preemptive strike
