I bet this time Peter Parker will be all sparkly in the sunlight, and have all these desires about pricking Mary Jane, which would turn her into a spider girl, but he resists the urge, even though she really wants it.

Heard about this just before Christmas. The bigwigs were in to look at our DI and VFX's workflows. Not sure what happened but I knew it was none of the original gang.
If it is Spiderman I will probably watch it regardless of who does it or is in it...

Aside from a younger looking Patrick Fugit all the casting suggestions are too old. Chris Pine? Really?

He was probably joking. Chris Pine is already signed to do the Green Lantern and Chris Pine's dad in Star Trek (guy who played George Kirk) is going to be Thor.

I'm pumped to see a "rebooted" Spider-Man but I hope they don't go down the same path as the Dark Knight. Spider-Man is definitely more light-hearted than Batman and he borderlines on being a clown at times so as long as they don't "grit-ify" the franchise then I'd be happy.
The other thing is the movie franchise is owned by Sony Pictures so Marvel doesn't necessarily have the last say on the final movie product. If only Marvel Studios could do for Movie Spider-Man what they did for Movie Ironman then I'd be happy.

Hey Lantern, coincidentally are you reading Blackest Night?

Spiderman can be pretty dark. Not as dark as recent iterations of Batman but he does contend with some nasties.

Actually Ryan Reynolds is signed for Green Lantern, and Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) was recently cast as Carol Ferris.

You just sleep with them then Carol? Slut.

And ya I am reading Blackest Night, I am a few behind right now though, can't read them at work and have been busier than usual, but so far I am liking the story line.

As stated before Pine was rumored to be Green Lantern but Martin Campbell went out and got Ryan Reynolds. The real worry is that if Reynolds is Green Lantern, the rumors are they won't let him fix Deadpool
edit: Blake Lively *drool*

Lol sorry to show you wrong again Yeah Baby, but Reynolds has stated that he is part of the writing process of Deadpool as the "authentication police"

			Good.
The 1st one was the only watchable one of the 3, and even it was horrible.

The best part of the movie was when Parker walked into the jazz bar to get Mary Jane back, and a guy behind us (who was sitting with his girlfriend) said in a not too quiet voice, "God I hope he hits her again" That movie was brutal.
