Unless that case of beer has tickets to a future Flames game, I'd go.

Well, I get free dome beers and food there so anytime I get a free ticket, I go. The night ends up costing me nothing. Actually, the last two times I went, I profited since I always gamble at the Stampede Casino before and after games.

He hasn't had a girlfriend in awhile. I'm going to tell him that if he ever asks for a ticket from me for a date or for a girl, that I'd do it without hesitation. But asking just because you wanna go is a big fat no. I wanna go too! And I'm working for it! You're right, MMF.

At some point you're walking the line between "good guy" and "doormat."

I don't see any reason for this guy to land your ticket other than he wants to go. BFD, I want your ticket too.

Alright, I just texted him and told him that I would have easily given up a free ticket, but not one that I have to work for.

Thanks for the replies, this thread can die now. Unless anyone wants to amaze me with a story about their friend that asked for something so unusual that they almost dropped their phone.

depends what seats they are, unless they are amazing seats, I'd give him the tickets and use that against him forever as your trump card for future situations.

Ehhh! Wrong anwer!

I'd take the tickets and use 'em. Of course, I have more of a George, Jerry, Kramer, and Elaine relationship with my friends, so I am ignorant of any type of sharing between them.

But that response is fairly weak from him.

Edit: Oops, you already replied to him. Good choice, though!

Sounds like you made a good choice, this seemed like a great game to attend.
