how is it a company like Sony can't produce enough product so that they don't sell out in a day?

Well, I finished it this afternoon at around noon. I must admit that it may have been one of the greatest games I have ever played. Not often that I play a game and get emotionally involved in the story like I was with this. So many jaw dropping moments. I can't recommend this enough.

Or do anyone have the Metal Gear Solid 4 Bluetooth headset?
http://gizmodo.com/390602/first-live...etooth-headset

Although YMMV as some of the reviewers got horrible sound out of it. Maybe a sticker over a microphone hole?

Nothing declares your nerd-ery more than having the associated peripherals to said videogame.

They just put up a metal gear database for download on the psn store for free. It's pretty comprehensive and it actually blocks out all spoilers from mgs4 until you beat the game.
Although I still recommend getting this: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...83&catid=11137 to get the full impact of the game(especially in act4 of mgs4), the guide is still good if you don't have time.

Just got home from EB... loaded it up, and watching the intro now... Man, I'm so stoked.

I still remember playing the first Metal Gear on NES...

I was totally loving this game up until the Vamp fight. Now I'm ready to build a frigging bonfire and throw the god damn game into it. Two f'ing days I've been trying to kill this piece of crap. I know what to do, but for some f'ing reason it wont bloody work. I even looked it up on the web to confirm that I had the right idea and sure enough, I do, but it just will not grab him from behind no matter what I do.

Make sure you don't have a large gun equipped.

I didn't. I had it set to None. Finally, FINALLY worked this morning. I didn't do anything different than the hundred other times I'd tried, but I finally got him. .

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. It's a sad state of affairs in the North American gaming scene when games like this go by almost unnoticed to average joe gamer while stuff like Halo and Call of Duty sell by the truck loads.

Huh?

According to Wikipedia, Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 each sold over 7 million copies, making them the #5 and #6 top-selling titles on the PS1 and PS2, respectively. Part 3 saw a decline in sales to "only" 3.7 million, largely as a result of fan disappointment over MGS2.

For comparison, Halo 1 sold 5 million copies and parts 2 and 3 each sold about 8 million; Call of Duty 4 has sold 3.5 million copies to date.

And in my opinion that's the best one.

Bump for it being $10 today at EB. If you've been holding out, now might be the time. Personally I couldn't get into it, but I'm in the minority.

Side note: Watch eb closely ... they've been having crazy deals each day. I picked up Prince of Persia for $10 last week. If you're on twitter, follow @gamedealscanada

Yep, from what I've been reading it's MGS4 Limited Edition and standard for $9.99. Just be careful with what they give you, though. I've been reading that they are giving gutted copies (remove the game, put it in a sleeve, and put the box on the shelf for display) which technically aren't new (no factory seal). If that doesn't bother you then give 'er.
