Bush Mulls Bin Laden Offer to Convert to Islam

(2007-09-07) — Just hours after the release of al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden’s latest video message inviting all Americans to convert to Islam, U.S. President George said he would “seriously consider the offer, because it sure would simplify the war in Iraq.”
“If I convert to Islam and order all of our troops to do the same,” said Mr. Bush, “we can stay in Iraq indefinitely, drop the restrictive rules of engagement, save a lot of money by using cheap, unguided bombs, clear neighborhoods flat out, blow up mosques with impunity and still go to heaven — not to mention that I’d get more favorable coverage from the U.S. news media.”
The president added that he might convert to Islam just to “find out what it’s like to be a man who wears a dress and a bonnet and dyes his hair like a girl.”

No, you only get your virgins (who are perpetual btw, they will always be virgins no matter how many times...) errr, you'll only get them when you successfully martyr yourself. Some people move out of small towns to meet women or to find a wife. Some people blow themselves up.

I think I am out. Did a little checking and it seems all virgins on earth are claimed by passed martyrs. The wait is just too long.

1. Accept Islam
2. Pay the jizya (basically a tax placed on non-Muslims by Muslims)
3. War with Muslims

Bin Laden has to offer his religion to the enemy for his actions to be justified by the religion. Basically he is just checking off one of the items in the 'to do list' for a justifiable jihad.

Always remember, "peaceful coexistence as equals in a pluralistic society" isn't one of the choices.

Osama is trying to cover up the fact that he did not offer choice "1" before the attacks of 9-11. To be honest given the blurry video of his face I suspect that he is dead and his followers are taking old tapes and dubbing over them. Every September they send out a "threat" and hope some "home-grown" jihadist does something about.
