Of course you make your own choices....but if your parents teach you racism and bigotry...there is a pretty good chance you'll have the same outlook later on in life.

My instructors never degraded any other religions but would often go and learn as much as he could about them, and let us know. they told us to learn as much as we can and to be honest with ourselves not once did he condone anger, or villanization of any other persons. Just letting you know, not all sterotypes are true. I admit currently I do not follow any religion as I believe they are all too simmilar to pick one over the other. they all preach the same thing when it comes down to it.
Please reread my post. I never suggested that all religious schools should be targeted. Only those that taught hatred. Also, I don't believe a negative opinion towards another religious or cultural group consistutes hatred. Calling folks to commit murder or physically harm others does. Recruiting for this global religious war also does.

Sorry, If I misread what you were saying, It's been a long day . I do not believe however it is a religios war, It is a war of political and selfish reasons, people are just using religion as scapegoat and a mean to justify their evil doings. Lets see how much God approves of them come judgement day.

I think we should show the enemy enough respect to take them at their word. The guy who is straping on explosives does so for his God. The foreigner fighters who are laying road side bombs in Iraq and those who trained in Afganistan under Osama all claim to be serving their God. The Taliban acted for religious reasons.

I do acknowledge that wicked men will sometimes manipulate a religion in order to gain power or acheive purely selfish goals. But I don't see this to be the case with most of the characters within this religious conflict.

This was pretty common language during the Cold War by both sides and by far more powerfull men than a congressman. Serious threats were going back and forth almost daily until we got use to it. It's called brinkmanship and it works to an extant for those who only understand force.
